i have still dont understand why a person buys and uses apple computer. it has minor support nobody is aware of its os and softwares. and in my opinion it is for to be seen like a marginal person so they are using apple. can anyone tell me a reasonable reason to buy an apple desktop computer ?
Roger C asked:
I typed this obvious question into my yahoo messenger inquiry and recieved no reasonable acknowledged response. It would appear that the creators of this device do not want the user to have the real answer nor the option to perform this change. I find it incredibly annoying and invasive to continually have to clear this popup off of my screen everytime I start up my computer. I have searched the left click options on the icon which already exists on my desktop, but this provides no support. How can I correct this problem?
Austin Computer Nerds asked:
In VB for Microsoft Access, how do you encode a URL to represent spaces in the variables ?
Seymour Butz asked: This has been my experience.
When you want to buy the computer, you get to speak with a nice American in Texas or Oklahoma who is more than happy to take your money.
Once they have your money and you need customer service or support, you are always transferred out of the USA to another country where the people could care less about your problem.
Is it me or do you have the same experiences with Dell?
I bought my first Dell in 1998 and things were wayyyy different back then.
Harmony du Muertre asked: Ok so I’m looking into buying a new graphics card for my computer, mainly because I need a new one that is going to be compatible with Sims 2 (My current graphics card isn’t supported.) and I need to know the following:
A. Need to know how to find out if a graphics card is going to be compatible with my computer.
B. What graphics card (I’ve been looking at a GeForce FX5200 on my local pc stores website for the past couple of days and it is a supported one) that is a supported card, would be good for playing sims 2.
Ok so I only need to know that one thing…
If its going to help, I have a PowerSpec 8921(I got it as a gift from my dad so I didn’t buy it.)
I know enough about my computer, but something like a graphics card is a little new to me, but I’m learning.

Jen asked:
I have a problem, I have been trying to find someone to help me with turning off the erase history site. Well, her grandmother bought this computer from someone and when I called Dell and gave them the number on the back, I was disconnected, and I am worried as hell, that I am going to get into trouble… I didn’t do anything, but I don’t want someone else to. Any thoughts as to what is gonna happen?
well, her grandparents apparently bought the computer from some guy, and supposedly, from what I was told is that he is given the computers after some school is done with them… What if this isn’t the case? Why would they disconnect me and they were just really weird when I called.
Also, that is what I was told to do by chatting with someone on a tech support site of windows xp support. I don’t know, but I am worried.
LOIS F asked:
having computer problems used att support to check everything including mail. Supposedly no problems. Except the yahoo mail files were completely transferred to outlook express. Yahoo mail is my default mail account. Why does this happen and how can I get mail back to yahoo account other than forwarding each msg.
