and please, no wise-a$$ answers here! i am leaving country pretty soon and i have all my songs from my computer saved to my ipod. now i am wondering if it is possible to get them all off there and on to a new one when i move and get myself a new computer. i really don’t feel the urge to have to go out and buy everything all over again, nor do i have the time nessecarry to burn them all on to cd and take with me. any suggestions? i couldn’t find anything over the ipod support thing. thought maybe someone here could help me.. i am fairly sure i am dealing here with more technically inclined people other than myself! thank you very much
oh yeah.. before anyone asks, its an ipod nano 4 gb.. not the latest but i figure there must be something i can do!
okayx.. i am a bit dumb at times.. do i do this ipod rip thing now or on the new computer? i don’t quite get it! :-)

sure u can
all u need to do connect it as u always do and then instead of using itunes just go to my computer go in tools and change the folder options in order that u can see hidden files
and then click apply
after that all u need to do is open the ipod drive and ull find all the music there just browse and ull find them in several folders and u can just copy and paste them in any pc anywhere u go
hope this helps :)
