Optical Drive: LG Electronics 16X/16X DVD-RW Drive with Dual Layer DVD+R9 DL Support.

Controler: Onboard IDE controller.

Keyboard: Microsoft Mulitmedia Keyboard and Intellimouse Optical Combo.

Monitor: Acer AL1912 19 inch.

O/S: Windows Xp Professional Service Pack 2.

I know they are both IDE but i am not sure if they will be compatible with this new Motherboard.

The Motherboard says that supports 4 IDE devices and then i goes on to say that it supports these hardrive types :
UDMA/33
UDMA/66
UDMA/100
UDMA/133

I have never heard of those before… If a motherboard says that is supports IDE does that mean all IDE devices?

My hardrives are older but I they are 160Gb and a 75Gb and i do not want to have to buy new ones.

Basically what i am asking is how can i find out if my hardrives are compatible and/or are they compatible???

Please help!!!
